One of the most beautiful things I learned during the workshops of dancer and choreographer Michael Schumacher was that you can have a conversation without words. A conversation that is not limited to just two people, but in which the camera and the environment are also involved. This principle is so intriguing that in the series “Without words” I search for this conversation and try to capture it in my own way. A way in which I try to give the camera the voice of the narrator. A narrator that can tell me the story I don’t yet know I’m telling. An ultimate photographic experiment without a grand preconceived plan.
