Last year, I participated in the Nerdy Arts project at the Rietveld academy. This project led by Jojo (Joris) Landman was the first time that the Rietveld academy and the VU worked together. The approach was to introduce students to other ways of doing research and to merge technology and art in new projects. The project I brought is It’s a fickle thing, in which I fuse photography, video, sound and movement by using distance and motion sensors, among other things. At the closing event, I also gave a presentation on this. Two of my installations were also on display at VU.
