For a couple of years now, I have been writing some classical melodies from time to time, and I got curious when I saw that Orchestral Tools had launched a contest. After seeing the video for which the melody was intended, I realized that an earlier sketch of a melody I wrote could fit well with this. So I went to work with the Berlin Free Orchestra package and this is the end result. I’m especially pleased with the string part of the violins which for the first time in terms of phrasing sound the way I would like.
As far as I am concerned, this is the first tune of many, as there are a few more in my top hat 😉
