This too shall pass

An online exhibition in a self-built virtual museum.

Just before the COVID pandemic broke out, I was thinking about where I wanted to show my work. How could I end up in a coffee shop, gallery, exhibition, or museum, and was my work good enough. After the outbreak of the pandemic, it quickly became clear to me that this wasn’t going to happen in the short term, so I started to delve into 3D, particularly Blender. After watching many online tutorials, I decided to build something myself. It got a bit out of hand because before I knew it, I had a whole museum ready with about 150 photos hanging in five halls. A successful crowdfunding campaign via Voordekunst.nl gave me the opportunity to complete the project and launch it online on November 22, 2020.
