Artist Statement

I create art for everyone who seeks recognition and acknowledgment, and wants to be inspired to form deeper connections – with themselves, nature, life, and others.

An important part of the creative process is that I become part of that exploration myself, investigating and visualizing this process in various ways and with different techniques. For this, I use visual, auditory, and tactile art forms. I use photography, music, texts, paintings, drawings, and installations to give shape to this. In doing so, I attach great importance to recognizing and dealing with all emotions, including the dark ones.

The versatility in my work is not only a reflection of my own versatility but also of that of all of us, and thus a tribute to the works of art that we all are.

I am inspired by Taoism, nature, and specifically the gentle force of water; which, with attention, patience, and care, manages to smooth the roughest stones.

When presenting this work, I pay ample attention to creating safe spaces in which the visitor, the audience, can experience these explorations.

My goal is to offer visitors a platform for dialogue and personal growth through my art, so that they can naturally form deeper connections with themselves, life, nature, and others. In this way, my work contributes to a more empathetic and supportive society where everyone can feel safe and be themselves.

Creating and experiencing art to find the courage within us to embrace ourselves, life, and each other in all our complexity and beauty.
